One of the tenants reportedly went insane, killed her 2 children, threw their dismembered remains in the creek out back, and then hanged herself in the closet. The house has since been torn down and replaced with a block of townhomes. Hauntings Furniture was known to move by itself, the garden machete moved from the windowsill to the floor every night, and the porch light would turn itself on and off. The sound of barbells clanging could be heard from the basement, where the door would open and close itself, and the light would turn itself on and off. There was a definite feeling of a presence in the basement, while the the last owner's leg was grabbed by an unseen hand as he went down basement stairs.
